I have spent a lot of this year reflecting on myself, my own priorities, who I am, what I do and why. When I sat in the Banyan Tree back in 2013 I was connected to something more than myself, something bigger. Women around the world are standing in their own truth and power and it's time for me to do the same. I want to lift others up, to support them to do incredible things.
I have been lucky enough to be accepted to the 2018 Business Chicks Immersion and Leadership Program. In February 2018 I will be travelling to Senegal, Africa with other program participants and partaking in a once in a lifetime experience - women helping women in the most beautiful and transformative way.
The Business Chicks Immersion and Leadership Program work together with The Hunger Project by mentoring and supporting women in starving communities across the globe to unlock their capacity, creativity and leadership - so they can end their own hunger. But the Program needs support and donations to undertake their valuable work. In applying for the Program, something in me was triggered causing me to rethink my purpose and my own being.
It became perfectly clear what I needed to do and how I was going to do it.
For some time I have struggled .... struggled with being overweight and eating for all the wrong reasons. And so a crazy idea was born and I created a Pozible campaign 'What are you REALLY hungry for??? I have pledged to shed at least 20 kilos by the end of 2017 and raise funds for The Hunger Project in doing so. I kicked off my pledge 1 August 2017.
On top of this, I have also shifted the focus of my Rosie Banyan products and am now putting 100% of proceeds to worthy causes, to work towards 'solutions', such as The Hunger Project. I am busily planning a number of exciting events to raise funds for the Business Chicks Immersion and Leadership Program. You will receive a VIP invite to these.
You can help raise the much needed funds by giving to my Pozible campaign, purchasing my products, attending one of my upcoming events or donating directly to The Hunger Project. Every bit counts.
I am excited to partner with the 2018 program and make a difference, leading women towards their own solutions.
Love Rochelle x

This year has certainly been a whirlwind adventure for me. Turning 50 gifted me with not only a few more wrinkles, but also some new adventures and travel. Exploring new places, countries and destinations is my absolute passion.
Interestingly I have made some 'new friends' this year. Some ‘tree folk’ planted across the globe and they have shifted my awareness....
I never set out for these connections and ignored this ability for some time. Then I realised it was the very thing that made me, 'me'. Perhaps this is why I ‘show up’. It’s something that has enabled my own past pain to be set free and replaced with a feeling of peace and love.
Over the weekend I held a stand at the Mind Body Spirit Festival in Melbourne. Each year I set a different intention when I do this. This year I set the intent of holding space for another. This was great practice for my trip to Senegal, Africa in February next year with Business Chicks and The Hunger Project
